Grant Hill to the Suns

Grant Hill has agreed to join the Suns at an absolute bargin of 1.2 million for 1 year.

A very nice addition to the team and will add some experience off the bench.

Maybe Hill's best chance of a title???

he sure wasnt in it for the money..he is getting old and so all he wants now is to win a championship and he smartly knows that he has an excellent oppurtunity of that occuring with the suns.

You hear of players today such as Karl Malone, Gary Payton and now Grant Hill chasing that championship and playing for peanuts compared to what they are used too.. Is this just a current trend or have players always done this at the end of their careers?

AK - I think the Spurs and Mavs will have something to say about that

Hill will be a nice piece but that have Diaw who can play that role too

My opinion, don't think it is that big of a signing - he is 35, has 2 bad ankles - he averaged 14.4 and 3.5 boards last year (missed 20 games) - he will help no doubt but I just don't think he is going to be a bigger signing than say the Finley with the Spurs or Stackhouse with the Mavs signings of a few years ago

The most important thing about this signing: the vet minimum. gives Phoenix a good shot at landing KG next season

Now if they can sign Posey as a FA...
