Southern Tigers have announced that Heath Jury is continuing as Senior Mens coach and Travis Leaver is taking over as the Womens coach. Thought these positions would have been advertised? Thoughts?

Travis will be an exc coach for the womens program IMO.
They may need to recruit a couple of players for next season if they want to beat Sturt / West
Great Appointments!!
Both sides had dissapointing seasons and are out of finals.
Club has been proactive and appointments amde so Coaches and Players can move on quickly to organise for next season.
Club has been exceptionally quick to move on.

I would have thought that Jury wouldnt have been reappointed...
be interesting to see if players will stay or go.

1 year is not long enough, he will need a minimum of 3 years to establish himself and to get the team on the same page. IMO

Will be interesting to see the recruits, if any, that will be brought to the Mens program. And whether or not the Hodges boys will continue..they've given a lot to the club; their time isn't up yet though!! Keep going on boys!! Who's the Mens assistant coach next year..is Adam Peck staying or going??

Not from North, maybe another club that starts with N tho. .....
Wouldnt be a bad assistant either... pretty sure he has been in the top position previously.

So what doesn't mean he'll do a bad job just because he hasn't coached girls before. I think it's a good move and I for one wish him all the best.

Now that Travis has stepped down with all the roles, it will leave a huge gap in the junior program. Once again the senior program takes priority over the junior prgram. No one will want to go to Southern to fill the advertised positions after the recent history.
