Would have loved to see this go through. Wallace and kobe could have formed an awesome and very exciting duo.

Very even trade as well ... tough to see who would have got the bad end of this trade.

I'm not so sure about that elg, i reckon odom could have complemented carter and kidd very well. Jefferson and carter are very similiar players, odom may have been a healthy trade up. He could also have helped them inside where they need massive help.

I think the real question is however, would this trade have made any of the teams contenders?
I would have to say:
New jersey, possibly in the weak east.
Lakers - no
Charlotte - possibe playoff team but thats about it

What do others think?

nets dont lose with odom...they get better...can rebound better, pass better, can shoot better, hes a great complimentary player..they dont need jefferson as much as they need an odom

Give me Crash over Jefferson any day of the week, esp with the addition of J-Rich to the Cats. Jefferson and J-Rich are too similar.

At least Crash brings it on the defensive end as well as putting up numbers on the offensive end.

Why didnĀ“t the Lakers keep Caron Butler in the first place, if they are now wanting a (sort of)similar player in Gerald Wallace. Then they would not have to deal Lamar now to get that type of player.

Odom is clearly the best of the 3, i think only the nets would win out of that trade
