Forestville v West ~ The knock out

After seeing Forestville play last night and the way they started the game, they showed very much why they are the defending champ just came up against a young group hungry for success.
West are very much a young group too and the forgotten group of the playoffs. Blake Truslove looks like he means business with a big game last night, so it makes for a good battle.
I still feel it will be a North v Forestville final so will say the eagles in this one by 7.

Likely Starters:

Sutton vs Mann
Sullivan vs Spadavecchia
Arnold vs Phillips
Hoban vs Molitor
Oakley vs Truslove

Edge: West

The champs vs the challengers, the occasion might give the Eagles the edge....JUST!

Oakley's exterior game may worry Truslove but Im sure West will switch both Davis and Molitor on Oakley at some stage.

Mann is THE KEY for West, Arnold will get Phillips and if Mann can beat Sutton, West have a chance

Campbell vs Pearce

MacDonald-Taylor vs Davis
Breeding vs Crothers
Haydon vs Slowinski

Edge: Forestville

This will make or break the game for both teams.

Both had sizable contributions last week and both sides have up their sleeve to produce on the night.

The Bearcats bench is the most suspect but can be VERY damaging.

PREDICTION: West by 5

They completely owned West at Wayville last time but the Bearcats did show some signs a few weeks back without Davis and Truslove.

Expect a lot of 3 point shots and tough, hard physical encounters under the basket.

As always the team who plays the smarter defence and shoots the ball better will win.

what about gets the ball in the hoop the most - cant see forestville not winning this by 10 plus - oakley is the man for the occasion - i cant see any west player stopping his game and i think campbell about ready to fire up big time - west are susceptible to pressure and stton / sullivan will constantly be forcing them to play a 10 second offence - meaning shots coming under pressure as oppose to being able to make that extra pass

Truslove dosen't start for west.

Davis was present at the last meeting of the two teams, but was internally suspended.

Danny Phillips is also starting to fire for west and is one to watch.
