Claire Kerr Benefit
I have been following Claire's story ever since I first saw it in the paper, and last night at the benefit I was appalled that not one current Lightning team member or coach was present. It has been well described in the newspaper articles that Claire is a huge Lightning fan and for them to not have any representative present is in my opinion a black mark on the club.
Notable appearences included Phil Smyth, Steve Brehney, Brett Maher, Rachael Sporn, Rupert Sapwell, and Darren Ng.
On a lighter note I would like to congratulate the Careta family on organising this event, it looked like it took a lot of time, effort and dedication, so congratulations.
