First NBL import to get dropped?

This might be a little on the negative side, but it's only a matter of time before someone else starts it anyway. NBL teams bar the Kings and Tigers all appear to have selected their imports for the coming season. Anyone want to put up their top three picks for imports to get cut?

Full list off the top of my head:

Perth: Phillips, Redhage
Singapore: Grizzard, Helms
Adelaide: Ballinger, Chappell
Melbourne: Thomas
New Zealand: Turner, Rickert
South: Groves, Horvath
Townsville: Ellis, Young
Cairns: Abney, Tucker
Gold Coast: Crowe, Hawkins
Brisbane: Rychart, Ere
Wollongong: Peters, Franklin
West Sydney: DeVries, Hinson

My picks - though not sure that these teams can afford to cut and sign as they please!

1. Peters (Hawks)
2. DeVries (Pigs)
3. Hawkins (Blaze)

Didn`t Melbourne announce Martin Muurpsepp last week (shades of Todd Fuller - Ex-1st rounder, big wraps, coming here on a "goodwill" contract)...

Not sure if it'll eventuate. Read something suggesting that it might not happen and they have someone else in mind.

I agree with Skip. More to the point, maybe the one who is starting to make Kendall look bad?

DeVries wont get dropped, if the 'Backs run the right offence and get him alot of open looks. He is cash money from anywhere.

Kings will have the first import sacked followed closely by the Dragons. The other teams cannot afford to sack/payout their imports.

the kings have no money! infact they havnt paid anyone(coaches players) for a couple of months, so if they do end up getting any imports they wont sack them. that all counts on someone fitting the bill for their most recent debts so they can actually take the court this season.

I agree Rickert is good but he doesnt survive on teams cos he is in it for himself. I think in a year where the breakers have opened up the cheque book they wont tolerate it once the rest of the group start to get pissed about it.

Redhage is getting naturaliased within this month..he's application has been excepted, it's just waiting forthe paper work to go through. that leaves the wildcats with a very strong team

BTW, redhage is a candidate to be in the boomers team in china.
