Dragons release Conn...

The Crazy John's South Dragons have released Simon Conn for the 2007/08 NBL season for disciplinary reasons, effective today.

Conn was signed to the club in May on a one-year deal, with the option to extend his contract into a second season, after five years at Gardner-Webb University in North Carolina and one season in the Polish national league.

The Crazy John's South Dragons enter the 2007/08 season, commencing Saturday, September 22, with a 12-man roster.

Anyone know more?

Should the 36ers look at signing him??? he is a young big guy, who seemed to be putting up ok numbers in pre season, i think he would be a ok pick up, im sure someone like Singapore would sign him.
Has Horvath been naturalised?? so they are looking to sign a import??

Maybe a case of one man to many. Did something to annoy Heal so he's gone.

From what I understand, on their recent trip to Perth, a certain someone had too much to drink and missed a recovery session whilst being detained on a D&D charge.

Found out - was out at some club called CQ, was drinking and became abusive. Two players had to drag him out.

Two drinking binges in a couple of weeks...... Way to kill a new NBL career, Simon.

Would the Sixers be able to fit Conn in money and point wise with Mottram?

I was looking forward to seeing him in action on Saturday night but alas it wasn't to be. Would 36ers want him after a couple of disciplinary issues?

You can still see Conn in action, you'll just have to goto a bar instead of a basketball stadium
