Breakers vs Cairns on now, Kersten on court

Cairns are at Breakers right now: Listen to the game live

Wayne Turner is on the sidelines injured and I read a report that Henare tweaked something at training recently.

That means that SA kid Ryan Kersten is getting a great chance and, from the radio feed, doing pretty damn well.

Go Ryan - watch out for snakes on planes...

Oscar hits three. Cairns up 59-57. Cattalini hits three to put them up by 5. Oscar replies with another three. Forman fouls, Cattalini goes to the bench.

Abney called for a travel - Mahersy would love that!

Jones to Turner to Forman who hits from the corner.

Rono bricks a three.

Tucker goes inside, misses. Black rushes a long, long three and it's miles off.

Turner with the ball, Rono, Jones' shot rattles out.

Cairns now. Black misses a lay-up but picks up a foul from Rickert. Black to the stripe. 2/2.

87-85, Cairns up.

Forman in to Rickert. Rickert gets fouled. Commentators suggest it might not've been a foul.

Sorry Evan, keep forgetting to listen for the time.

Breakers miss again. Down by three, but need to score. Black misses. Abney gets the board.

2:30 left.

Cattalini spins on Jones, called for a charge?

'Not Cattalini's night' is the unanimous commentator opinion.

Time out. Mic is in Lemanis' huddle.

Breakers going with their starting five it seems - Turner, Jones, Forman, Ronaldson, Rickert.

Forman misses. 88-85, Cairns up

Cairns score. 90-85. Breakers have gone cold.

Rickert scores. Phew! 90-87.

Time out. Alan Black talking about last minute plays.

Turner at the line. Misses the first. Ugh. Hits the second. Commentators are relieved.

Minute to go.

Cattalini, to Black. Holds it. Black tries a jumper in the lane. Cairns get an o-board. Black with the ball again. Scores and draws a foul - ouch.

Cairns up by 5.

Turner scores.

Black fouled, hits both free throws. Commentators call him likely game MVP.

Breakers out of time.

Cairns win.

That turner did ok for me off my dream team bench, 15 points, 4rebs, and 6ast. Hope henare has that op. so pinny gets more court time, they talked his game up on the live coverage, said he ran offence well and gave NZ variety in offence. Kahootz to him i say
