Alex Loughton - NBA potential?

Perth Wildcats rookie Alex Loughton is really making some noise in the NBL and it was interesting to read this on the NBL website in the rookie write-up: "Once considered a borderline NBA second round draft pick.... In 2003 Loughton had a career high of 45 points against Charlotte that had NBA scouts talking about the Aussie's scoring ability". We have hardley had a chance to watch him play but does anyone think this guy's future involves the NBA?

Well he has really come out with a bang this season with scorin 20 points and 13 rebounds in the first game and then 24 points and 10 rebounds in the second so he should definately create more talk before the end of the season

How did this guy score 45 points in the NBA (summer league?) and hasnt really gotten a mention on here, Newley goes over, scores 6 points and we get 4 threads on it? (apart from the obvios fact hes from SA)

I don't thnink the 45 would've been in Summer League, more likely college ball.
