Target and Big W Catalogue Jobs

I just wanted to know if anyone knows how much Target and/or Big W pay people for delivering their catalogues. I am 14 year old kid looking for some extra cash but just like every other company in the world does, they failed to reply. Thanks.

No, they have contracts with national distribution companies. "Junk Mail" delivery pays about $17 per 1000 and 1000 takes about 4 hours.

I contacted messenger but the money pretty bad but not as bad as $17 for 4 hours! Damn! The thing is I just don't have the time to work 6-10 hours a week at Big W or somewhere like that.

quite a lot of places that hire 14 year olds.

SALMAT delivers Target, Big W, Dominoes, Woolworths and a number of other catalogues. The money varies depending on how many catalogues are delivered. It is approx. $5.00 per catalogue type for about 300 houses. Between now and Christmas there will be a lot of brochures to be delivered, so the money will be quite good. They need to be delivered twice a week - weekends and midweek.
PMP is another catalogue distributor, but from our experience they don't pay as much. PMP deliver Coles, K-Mart and Foodland.

Todd, I thought "I really need this job" would be more appropriate for a girlfriend.

Or maybe "I am reliable to work and willing to learn."

Just some Info, you get paid about $10 for the first catalogue, and $3 for each additional one. (300 postboxes)
It's really not a huge amount, all depends if you like spending a few hours at home preparing the catalogues and then walking for another few hours.

Absolute gold Isaac! Precisely why I mentioned it in the "Greatest Hoops SA Threads" thread the other week.

I also think brooke will be slightly disheartened when she checks her bank account this fortnight. May make her a little less enthusiastic...

How times have changed. I used to sell newspapers in Jetty road and Moseley Square 50+ years ago. I'd go into a front bar and blokes who'd had a few would hand over 5 quid for a copy of 'The News' and say "keep the change." I made a fortune. There's somethin' to be said for the good ol' days :)

Hi everyone, visit www.deliverfordollars.com.au to read more info about delivering catalogues.

I deliver for Salmat and if you enjoy being busy and making some extra cash for a stress free job then it's great. Have been doing it for almost 4 years now.

I've had some friends stop doing it because they have full time jobs now but I am working full time and still do catalogues on the side.

Hi Mithu, I've heard Big W not require much on any skills but hard working for cashiers. I think you should try it and be confident. There are some opening vacancies in Big W currently. http://www.jobseeker.com.au/Big-W-jobs
And they are flexible on time table as well. Good luck!

ATTENTION EVERYONE!!!!!!

I'm a catalogue distributor in the Mitchell Park and Ascot park area. I was working really hard for that little money until they found someone else to do my area and they stop paying me for the last 2 weeks!! First they didnt send me the catalogues on the weekend as usual, and then I asked whether they found someone else but they never replied!! Then they stopped paying me for the last 2 weeks that I haven't got paid for, and now they never answer my phone call!!!!
How disgusting!!!!!!!!

PLEASE BE WARE WHETHER U WILL BE CHEATED!!!

The company runs by a family their names are Jeanne and Graham!!!! The woman calculates the pay the man sends and sorts out the catalogues.
If you r interested in or distributing catalogues for these 2 people please be aware! Jeanne's mobile number is 0415931279.

Not Jeanne and Graham!

If you feel they owe you wages you can follow it through, but I think you have been given one of life's lessons.
