I know this has been debated to death but 18 rounds for the showcase competition in Adelaide is a joke.
Teams actually train longer in preparation for the season than the season itself.
an absolute disgrace. makes a mockery of south australia's premier basketball competition.

The most footballers play is one game a week, with basketball can can play more than just the one game a week.

27 games _ Play each team 3 times _ 1 home , 1 away ,
1 neutral _ perhaps midweek .
That way there is a best of 3 series each year , building rivalry , series deciders , sweeps , all that good hearted competition .

27 is too long. its all fine to say 18's not enough but when you yourself have to travel all across the state and wearing your body down for half a year for nothing or maybe $20 a week you look at it differently. Its too time consuming to have 27 rounds for the majority of the players in the league

You could fit 27 games in the same timeframe as the old 22 .
A few less or lighter trainings mid week when games are on .
18 weeks for 27 games plus finals could definitely work .
Shorter silly season and some organisation is all it would take .
Silly season is only 9 rounds plus finals. 18 + 9 = 27 games?
longer season probably better, those ABA players could that play the silly season, could play Div 2 to help develop juniors.
