Who's That Man ?

Was down at Morphett Vale Stadium to watch my neice play on Friday night and witnessed a come from behind victory from Southerns U/16 boys team over Sturt. Down by 9 or so points with less than 3 minutes to play, Southern eventually ran out winners by 5.

So what you might say.

The coach of the Southern team was Greg Olbrich....great to see you coaching big fella. Those lads are going to learn alot from him.

"Chest beating", Oh sorry shortys' big brother - The southern guys were mainly second years wth the Sturt No 2 named team mainly 1st years, - so the win wasn't a big deal and the Sturt kids are just getting use to the zone defence, bigger ball, etc. etc, they were the ones that did the best job to remain in front right up to the last couple of minutes!! SOUTHERN SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN FRONT from the start!

There's no doubt that the Tigers should have been up from the start, but it was a pretty amazing come back - From memory, the Tiger lads didn't play Zone D though... Man to man all the way.

Also, not sure you can credit Olbrich too much - There was one bench player from the Tigers who shut down Sturts point guard (who had been scoring at will all night!)
