Todays NBA *** contains spoilers***

Just having a look through the boxscores and some numbers look really good.

Bogut and the Bucks beat Memphis 99 - 102. Bogut had a MONSTER game, 23 points (9-14), 12 rebounds, 4 blocks. He's slowly turning into a number one pick. I'm guessing a 6 points, 4 rebounds game next.

Redd also had 31 points, MO had 10 points and 12 dimes. Gay had 26 for the Grizz.

Jazz knocked over the Raptops. Boozer put in 23 points and 14 rebounds, Deron pumped in 22 and 5 assists.

The Wiz beat the Pacers 103-90. Gilbert got 30 points and 11 rebounds and Butler got 25 points, 7 assists. Nothing outstanding for the Pacers, bar 6 players in double figures for scoring.

The Hawks beat the Bobcats. Joe Johnson ripped the Cats a new hole with 34 points, 10 assists and 5 boards. The rook, Horford had a nice double double (13 points/13 rebounds).

J-Rich and Crash had 27 points apiece for the Cats.

Howard and the Magic beat the Lebrons 117-116. Howard spanked the Lebrons for 35 points, 16 rebounds and 4 blocks.

Lebron had a HUGE games, 39 points, 13 rebounds and 14 assists.... Nice fantasy numbers there...

The trio beat the Nets 91-69. Carter is out. Jefferson had 21. Nice team game by the Celtics.

Seattle finally gets a win. Did the Heat in D-Wade's return 104-95. Wilcox had a 20/10 games. Durant had 18 points, Collision had 9 and 11 rebounds. Wade had 15 in his return.

The Hornets smashed the 76ers, 95-76. CP3 had 13 points, 10 assists and 5 rebounds, Mo-Pete pumped in 27 points and Chandler had 14 points and 10 rebounds. Willie Green had 20 points for the 76ers.

The T-Pups got over the Kings 108-103. McCants went for 33 points, Big Al had 23 points, 7 rebounds and 3 blocks. K-Mart II had 22 points for the Kings...

Still some games being played:

Lakers v Rockets
Blazers v Nuggets
Knicks v Clippers
Warriors v Pistons

Maybe he can't read TR?

Lakers just got up over the Rockets. McGrady left in the first half with an elbow strain and didn't return.

Yao missed some clutch free throws down the stretch which cost them.

Is anyone surprised that Bogut doesnt get much love from the American Media?

As has been posted, he has numerous bigtime games and is pretty consistent, AND was a #1 pick... you would think his progress would be watched more closely.

Is this lack of exposure due to:
*He plays for the Bucks?
*He is a non-American?
*He's not flashy/overly athletic?

Just some thoughts...

IMO all of the above.

All of the above, plus doesn't dominate, plus Caucasian (though I don't like bringing race into it). A lot of people get stuck into Yao unfairly too IMO despite him putting up decent numbers. When he does well, "It's just because he's big." - errr, how about Shaq?! Just have a look at any Yao topics on this forum that people have found via Google and hit (and there's some gear that I have to delete too).

Yeah after watching Yao Today... he has come along way since I had last seen him play... moves well, sweet shot... he just keeps getting better and better and gets a lot of double/doubles.

Whats this that Bogut doesnt get much love from the US Media?
Does he even deserve it?
I mean he has shown why he was the # 1 pick on SOME occassions but he is too inconsistent
He follows big games up with poor performances
The media expected him to dominate, but he has hardly done that and thats the reason the Media are showing no love.
A # 1 draft pick chosen a few years ago, should and must be ready to take over and dominate.
Carmelo, Lebron and Wade did it almost immediately. Bogut has taken a while to develop.
