The fan who threw the chair has a prior criminal record. The fan who threw the cup that incited it all has a prior criminal record. One of the fans charged is Ben Wallace's brother, David.

"Five fans were charged with misdemeanor assault and battery... Bryant Jackson also was charged with felony assault for throwing a chair into the fray, Oakland County prosecutor David Gorcyca said.

"The misdemeanor carries up to three months in jail and a fine of up to $500, and the felony carries up to four years in prison..."

No they wont NBA wants a squeaky clean image (which they will never have) so everything will be done to get them in as much trouble as possible

The fans without records will get fined and have already been banned. The fans with records will not escape so lightly.

As for the players, I'm not sure. I would guess fines and good behaviour bonds of some sort.
