36ers TV Coverage

According to adelaide36ers.com fox will only be only broadcasting 1 of the last 11 36ers games. Is that info correct? If so it's not brilliant news for Sixers fans but at least we have seen/will see 4 away games this season which is good compared to previous years. (Why are the majority of 36ers Fox game at the dome anyway?)

We suck on the road and usually get blown out by 40 plus (well last few years) and games in Adelaide get a reasonable crowd turn up (well compared to the rest anyway) and that makes good TV viewing.

It quite often has a lot to do with the facilities at the stadium too....If the dome is TV friendly, then they'll choose to do more HOME games of theirs live rather than AWAY at a less TV friendly arena.

Fox often only pick their games a month or so in advance I think, so there's a chance more could be added. e.g., the game against Brisbane was only announced as being on Fox the other week, and the Sydney game just been wasn't always scheduled (hence the game time change from 8pm to 7pm).

From all accounts, they don't like SNAHC, whereas they do like Vodafone.

It's not just the stadium either.

If they do Cairns games when they play at Vodafone or in Sydney then they don't need to pay to get a crew to Cairns.

There's lots of variables if you think about it.

...but they've done heaps of games at the SNAHC. The tigers nad kings seem to get broadcasted more than everyone else. Have fox ever covered a Slingers game?
