Should Jawai Enter NBA draft straight away?

Nathan Jawai is now predicted as going at no.30 in next year NBA draft according to draftexpress.com and most people seem to think he could make a roster next season. But would that be the right thing to do or would he be better of playing another season in the NBL or in Europe?

Either way shouldn't matter. If he is drafted likely he will be given another year to develop and spend it with the Taipans or possibly Europe.

Personally I think he could play back up minutes right now, being in a NBA will fast track his development considerably.

This is his last year of draft elibility anyway (he turns 22), so he'll have to. Ireally don't the problem, if a team takes him in the first round they obviosly want him, plus his contract becomes gauranteed. After they take him, they can do whatever they want with him, whether it be keep him active, send him to the DL, Europe, NBL, whatever.

Since when do you have to be under 23? How old is Newley?

Newls was 22. College seniors and international players who are 22 years old go straight into the next draft. After that, they can only be signed as free agents if they want to get into the league.

Joe will not enter the next NBA draft! He'll be either here with the Dragons next year, or in Europe.
