Luke Kendall wins POTW

http://www.nbl.com.au/default.aspx?s=newsdisplay&id=73773

Probably a surprising choice. Well, IMO anyway.
I would have thought even with the loss to Cairns that Ere would have still nabbed this one.
Even Redhage I would have placed higher than Kendall.

Thoughts?

Ebi should have received it. Scores 45. Pretty big effort

I cant stand Luke Kendall, just rubs me up the wrong way! Ere WILL win the HUMMER, guess they are just trying to keep it even slightly open for the hype of 'it could be anyone', Hummers request too I bet!

Kobe you're prob right. Also it is the first time a Kings player has won a player of the round! They are top on the ladder lost 2 games and this is their first individual award of the year (excluding all star game) pretty good and balanced effort by the Kings and yeh I hate Kendall too lol

What a load of crap. He had 24 points, 5 boards and 7 assists in the OT win against the Tigers.

Ere averaged 28.0 points, 10.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 4.0 steals.

Redhage averaged 23.5 points and 9.0 rebounds while his rookie teammate Loughton averaged 20.5 points and 10.5 rebounds.

I'd say this was their justification:

Ere was average against Cairns and then rampant against the crappy Dragons. The Bullets went 1-1.

Redhage and Loughton were up against the 36ers (out of the eight) and the cellar-dwelling Slingers.

Kendall got it done against a tougher team, I guess.
