Baylor get up over Aggies in 5 OT's

No, that wasn't a typo. Big 12 ball, Baylor (Aaron Bruce's school) defeated Texas A & M 116-110 in an incredible 5 overtime periods. Scores were tied at 64 after regulation. Game recap here.

Baylor had just recieved a top 25 ranking (AP) for the time since 1969, and hopefully this win gets some more national attention.

As for the stats, there some pretty nice lines. Curtis Jerrells (BU) had 36 points and 8 assists, going 20-24 from the stripe, Kevin Rogers had 19 and 18, while Bruce ended up with 20 points on 8/14 shooting, 7 boards and 4 assists. A & M's Bryan Davis had 30 and 14 rebs.

In total, there were 106 FT attempts, 69 fouls (8 players fouled put, 5 from BU) and 4 players racked up over 50 minutes, and 4 others played 40+.

Baylor are now 16-2 and sit in at 2nd in the Big 12, behind only Kansas. The Aggies have now lost three in a row and look set to drop out of the Top 25.
