Our best chance to beat Brisbane.

Things could well be in our favour for this weeks game against Brisbane. Ebi Ere is still in the States waiting for his baby to be born and may not be back in time. CJ is doubtful for tha game with an ankle injury. Boucher is out injured and Sam Mac is yet to get back to the form we know he is capable of.

Does anyone rate us a chance?

If they're missing some key players, definitely. Cairns had everyone but Mee, we had three guys doing the near-bulk of the scoring, and got up!

Substitutions will be crucial to this game!

Seriously though, if Brisbane are going to miss these key players we should win. Let hodge of his leash and the crowd will get involved.

Besides it goes well with the 36ers up and down consistency! Lose by 48 then beat the same team next game ;)

Our chances definitely look good now with all those key players from the Bullets set to miss. We should get Maher back, Ng will keep up his good form. Hodge should unleash again. Balls can go crazy. It looks good now.

So us at possibly full strenth

Cooper / Dench / Dodman
Ballinger / Mottram
Hodge / Copeland
Ng / Maher
Davidson / Sutton / Burdon

versus Brisbane possibly looking something like this.

Bradshaw / Brown
Rychart / Broom
Williamson / Gurney
Gibson / Goulding
Hill / Martin

I like our chances.

Its great that the sixers can encounter Brisbane when Sam Mackinnon and Boucher are confirmed not to play and Ebi and Bruton are in doubt.
Bullets wont have much offence as Bruton, Ebi and Sam are their 3 main offensive threats.

I think this game is plenty winable. My main factor though is how much physically and mentally it takes out of us to shape up for the Blaze the following night. If Maher plays have him come off the bench in spurts and use him wisely. Is Mottram playing after his shoulder injury?

'Maher will play one of those games' Steve Brehney mentioned, last wednesday.
