Bakari hendrix has been cited for 'Striking - with an elbow' in the match last night against the Taipans.
It was Cat that he struck and he seemed to cop him pretty good.
Suspension? Fine? Nothing?
I'll go a 1 game suspension.

You would think it would be a 1 game suspension, but based on some of the decisions the NBL makes with this kind of stuff, I'm going to say about a $1500 fine.... I hope he gets at least a game though

That is ridiculous!
The NBL are making a mockery of themselves with rubbish like this.
You could see very clearly on the replay that it was not intentional.
None of the referees had a problem with the elbow.
I am flabbergasted.
The fact that the referrees did not call a foul on Hendrix is the only crime here.
Especially the 'ref that cannot be named' who had clear vision of it.
Was terrible when he started 20 years and has been downhill ever since .... and still reffing! Fair dinkum!
I hope they throw this out. There was no intent, it didn't cause Cat to leave the game. And it was even borderline whether Hendrix had his foot grounded and his elbow was subsequently still in his cylinder...
Would do the Dragons a favour if he was suspended for a game

A fine of $1000-$2000 or a 1 game suspension is my prediction.
If this was a 36er, they would have copped a 1-3 game suspension.

Whatever happens it is not like Cat has not done similar things to other players before. No Blood , No Foul No suspension in my book.

Anon Hendrix has been playing ok for Dragons. If he gets a suspension of course it would harm the Dragons team! Seems like they've been lacking any player with a little weight to throw around!
