Remainder of the NBA Season

Now that the trading period is over which teams do you think gained the most and which teams lost some valuable players or lucked out.
The big names I can think of are...

Lakers gaining Gasol
Suns gaining O'neil
Heat gaining Shaun Marion and Banks
Cavs gaining Ben Wallace, Joe Smith, Wally Szczerbiak and Delonte Westand
Atlanta gaining Mike Bibby
Mavs gaining Kidd
Nets gaining Devin Harris, Diop and Van horn
Bulls gaining Gooden and Hughes
Rockets gaining Gerald Green
Spurs gaining Kurt Thomas
Warriors gaining Chris Webber

Also which teams missed out and needed some help...
Personally I would've liked to see Artest join the crew at Denver, and maybe someone a little more capable joining LeBron at the Cavs.

Who's going to win the west?? Lakers are looking in top form. But I think if Shaq fits in well with the Suns. Other contenders would be spurs, dallas, New Orleans.

And the East? Boston, Cavs and Detroit would be the favorites

LA for the west, they are dominating at the moment, won 6 in a row, currently second in west, with still bynum and ariza to come back frm injury.

Pheonix and New orleans to just miss out and finish 2nd and 3rd in west.

Warriors to be most hard done by and just miss the playoffs and become the team with the best record to miss playoff action.

I honestly think that San An gaining Thomas may be the biggest move out of all of this. Gasol, Kobe and Bynum are going to be huge, and if things turn out with Shaq, that move will be great for PHX as well, but all those moves were made to compete with the Spurs.

Now, they've added another solid big who can defend and can knock down the mid range J, which means that a bit of high-low with Duncan could be effective and it opens up the floor a bit too. He really adds something nice to the mix for what was an already dominant team.

Suns just knocked off Boston pretty convincingly. Stoudemire dominated and Shaq had 4 points and 14 boards. Since Shaq has been with the Suns they have dominated the boards, which hasn't been the case in Phoenix in a long time.

Guru......i wouldnt say convincingly.....Pierce and Ray Allen couldnt buy a basket

Pierce 2-13 fg, and Allen 3-12 fg

And only lost by 8

PHX imo arent playing that well......Amare is carrying that team at the moment

Wow, L.A fans knocking phoenix. Perhaps good defense caused the low FG%?

Yeah I agree ELG! I am a Phoenix fan... and it was exceptional defense which caused the celtics to shoot so poorly :P The 2 big fella's stopped anyone driving to the rack. I know I would settle for the outside shot if Shaq and Amare were waiting in the key!
