He played 33 games overall, for Chicago and Portland. Averaged 1.8 ppg, 1.7 rebounds and 8.6 minutes per game. Not amazing stats but you have to bloody good just to get on an NBA squad. I have no doubt that if he played in the NBL he would prefer to play for the Sixers but I'm sure he's ore interested in playing in Europe and earning heaps more money. I wonder if we'll see him in the NBA Summer League in the off-season. He played for the Timberwolves in last seasons summer league but didn't get a spot. Is he currently a free-agent?

Yes, he'd be a free agent.

If he played in Adelaide and cost us 10 points, that might make things tough were we to look at adding another import during the season.

Schenscher is a woftam. Waste of f.... time and money. Get some one that actually is more inetersted in playing for the team than the money - he is overated. So what played college ball

Saying he is not worth it is a big call , however assuming dominance in the NBL at 10 points is equally as big .

Luke is definitely worth it!
He is a 7ft, mobile big man with skill. He is a wanted commodity in Europe and will command dollars wherever he goes.
Not too many useless big buys get chances to play in the NBA.
He could end up like David Andersen, command a huge salary and be a focal point in major Euroleague team. If he played in Australia, who is going to be able to stop him? It is small ball over here in the NBL.

heaps could stop him. if europe wanted him he'd be over there. 10 points is too much for him. let another team get him and then bring him back once the points are revised in a couple of years

Hey, LC, you said:
"Not too many useless big buys get chances to play in the NBA."

Haven't you ever heard of a guy called Brian Cardinal?

Yep - "not too many" were my choice of words. That does recognise some slip through.
Luke is not useless and will be a great player given the right set of circumstances. He didn't get much of a chance in the NBA.

Yeah, most players that go to college/NDBL only just struggle to make it in the ABL, especially CABL.
