welcome to the reconstructed SEABL, a competition once extremely deep, but fast becoming a case of the have's and have nots....
I heard a senior basketball figure suggest last year that the SEABL will become a virtual metro interstate conference within a couple of years...that prediction looks spot on. Here are the tips.....Mt Gambier into Central (actually would be great)....Albury into BigV (if the powers that be allow the cross border thing to happen) or Waratah....Southern Districts back into QABL very quickly.....and toss a coin about when (not if) Ballarat and Bendigo join BigV as well.
The have's and have nots is just as worrying for the women - Albury in deep trouble in just their third season in the SEABL, NW Tassie looking a basket case at this stage.
