Stand outs at the Norwood classic

Hello all,

Just wondering who were the stand outs in the boys section from 12's through 18's. Obviously those who won would be a choice however what were the interstate teams like this year ? Dandy and Melb in the 16's Blackburn, D.Valley Elth and sandy in the 14's and also the McKinnon teams in the 16's and 18's ? How did the former McKinnon now Sturt player go ?(18's)

Over all were people happy with the standard of the tournament this year as there were certain teams not represented ( Sandy, Dandy, Elth and Melb in 18's)

Hope all went well.

It was a good solid tournament this year. Some good results across most age groups and some good tough games amongst a bit of fun!
Just remember that whilst some strong teams from VIC came along, there are arguably some stronger ones across all age groups that didn't make he trip over.
In any case, it will be good to play against the SA teams again when you guys come over for the National Classic's in June and for the Nunawading tournament.

Melbourne Tigers in both u/16 boys and girls were very good.... Dandenong in under 16's also had an athletic tank that scored heaps of curl cuts... Probalby had about 25 in their semi final loss to norwood

its quite funny that the 2 so called best teams in under 16 boys melbourne and dandy didnt even make the Semi-finals and dandy didnt even make the quarters at eltham maybe there not as good as everyone says, mackinnon and sandy seem to be better, going on the weekends performance, oh and melbourne lost to frankston aswell they were very disapointing

There were some very promising signs from our local
S A girls in the U 16's Championship grade who played off in the Grand Final going down to Melbourne by 12 and also by an under 12's team who won.
