Saw it mentioned on OzHoops that Goorjian heads to the US on or after Thursday and that they may try to announce the signing before that happens. Someone suggested that it would be announced at Raheen on Thursday (e.g., tomorrow). (Raheen has been owned by Richard Pratt, father-in-law of Dragons' minority owner Raphael Geminder, since 1980.)

I wouldnt be surprised if the kings got better crowds with phil at the helm next year and a worse record than they have under the perrenially successful goorjian.

I actually may have been a bit hasty...deal may not be signed until next week. Goorj has already headed off overseas and no deal done yet. King's owner may be seeking legal damaged from Goorj as well and that may also be holding up any deal.

Suggestions are that the Kings' owner, Tim Johnston, who is chasing purchasers, intends to seek compensation.
Can this guy screw up his franchise any more?!

Dragons would be pretty good with Smith, Kendall, Wortho and Sammy Mac. I dont like Gibson. Dont know why but still I hope dragons dont go for him.

How do you think that would work points-wise?

Smith - 10
Mackinnon - 10
Worthington - 10

Kendall - 8 or 9 (?)

Gibson - 5 or 6 (?)

Ingles - 3

Burston - 7 or 8 (?)

That's 53 min, 56 max.

Could possibly add Aaron Bruce (3) and an import (10) where needed, assuming they ditch whoever else is on contract. That right there is a grand final team.

NBL website has Perth also chasing Goorj as coach

Fricken hell.....can it get any worse

Had to bite my tongue and cheer Fisher as a player, who i hated at the Giants when they played Perth

Then had him as a coach

Now Goorj......i hate his guts and the Cats are after him

Imagine we got him and Wortho.......lol

If you read the paper over here, Worthington is a chance to play for the Wildcats.

Anyone heard any developments on this? Will it happen today? They better get a move on with the FA list coming out Monday.

Wortho is not a lock anywhere yet. Could go anywhere from Cairns, Perth, Melbourne or Dragons.
Kendall and Smith to Dragons - they will follow Goorj.

To that tool who mentioned Rahean in his post has no idea

Rapheal and Richard Dont get along

Why i know this as i work for one of Richards Companies and it is far from Rosey.

Yes the deal will get done as i have sources that tell me Raphael and Cowan have put an offer on table, but as someone pointed out there is also an offer from College team in US on table as well, hence why he is headed over there to check that out

Get it right before you post mate, seriously
