crap Brisbane rings

How crap were those Brisbane rings last night? As Heal said, anything other than a swish was pretty much guaranteed to stay out.

There wasn't a lot wrong with Maher's pair of free throws that he missed - in a lot of other venues (including the DH Dome) I reckon they would have gone down.

On the plus side, because the rings were so crap they gave us Farley's memorable shot in the second half when the ball almost got stuck on the FRONT of the ring.

I've never seen a ball balance on the edge of a basketball ring for that long before! Quite remarkable.

And yet I saw some of Brisbane's shots fall in when they should have rimmed out - two three pointers, one from Kerle and the other from Hill I think.

Mahersy did well to sink the last pair of free throws though. You would have had to put money on those ones.
