What do the the little orange basketballs mean?

There are 2 posts on the forum index with little orange basketballs next to them.

What do they mean?

They designate "featured" posts. (When you're moderating, just set the feature field to 1 if you think a post is worth highlighting.)

When I've got more time I'll set them to work in the "Latest posts" column too.

Any chance we can have the colours changed for posts that we have read?

Cheers, DJ

That's a harder one. I can make posts that are new since your last visit a different colour, but that may have no direct correlation with whether or not you've read them.

Also, the a:visited status (changing link colours) won't work because messages attached to a parent post are accessed using anchors (i.e. jumping to a point within a page), and that doesn't effect the vlink status.

I'll try and sort something out though.

I agree with highlighting some way of seeing what has been posted since last visit, saves us having to troll through every thread that may interest us.

But, I've said that more than once before.

Didnt the forum you have on the sixers official site change the colour of visited threads? im sure it did, in both the forum list and the recently posted list?

DJ, yeh, the colour of links and the visited state are just very close. I've made some changes that should make them slightly more different.

Any other ideas anyone?

Forum is now the front page for the site. Latest news links from the sidebar. DC has been added as a moderator.

Also, the little BASA booklet sold at ABL games had the latest top ten lists with stats per game. Can anyone get that info up here or scan it and email it to me?

I can only really remember that Jacob was 30 PPG, Darren was 26 and Oscar was 20. On the boards, Nash was 15ish RPG, Jacob and Oscar were 14 and 13.

Jacob would be a clear season MVP favourite -- featuring in most of the categories -- top ten in scoring, rebounding and assists is not bad at all!
