i heard a whisper there would be a pay increase accross the board for all referees

it will be passed onto players - probably 50 cents per player or so.

SA refs are underpayed anyway.

i would like to know who teh "Referee coaches" are

my understanding is there are no referee coaches for juniors these days. just some of the current senior refs help out

the ref coaches only watch aba

as long as some guidance is supplied to the juniors - be coaches or senior refs

not just yellow shirts - but actually on the court with them

speaking of the ref's does anyone know what happened to some of the good state league refs who have quit over the last few years?? Tarmo? Porter? Dyson?
there seems to be less and less of the better umpires in sa aba etc etc
