Suns look at Jawai and Bruce

The Phoenix Suns took a closer look at Australian centre Nathan Jawai over the weekend as well as fellow Aussie Aaron Bruce. Full story: http://linky.com.au/e69d6.

Jawai is one busy and sout after guy. I heard he's going to be in 15 cities in 22 days. Already worked out with Warriors, Kings, Sonics and Suns. Can't WAIT for draft night!

That article also mentions another Aussie, Daniel Dillon. Has he signed anywhere in the NBL yet? Could be a good pick up for someone.

About 13 minutes of footage on the workout available at phoenixsuns.com. Workout included Bruce, Jawai, and Dillon as well as Speights, McGee and Robin Lopez. Small interview with Aaron Bruce at about 9:45 into the video. Dave Griffin had a few good things to say about Jawai.

Dillon not signed anywhere yet. He won't get picked up in NBA, probably being used as training/workout fodder.
Still likely to head to Tigers in the NB IMO.

Can you imagine how Jawai is licking his lips thinking about an A-Grade post and big man education from Shaq and Amare, would be a risky move for the Suns seeing as we have only the 15th pick and to pick him so early is a gamble but for a guy with such potential a gamble could be very rewarding in the long run.

Suns looking at him more for the 48th pick. Lopez, Speights and Mcgee were the ones working out for the 1st round selection. Suns are also talking about the possibility of obtaining some more draft picks, so Jawai could be a chance there also. They are NOT looking at Jawai as a potential lottery pick.

lol, and then the Knicks can have another Centre/PF who spends over a decade for a club that doesn't win a title.

Just need Nate Robinson to fit the role of "John Starks Mk2".
