does anyone know if there is a counrty carnival this year and if so what date?

According to the SA Country web site, it's at Wayville. Not sure if it's spread over other venues too (the junior country carnivals in March are played at multiple venues).

there are Australian country nationals next week at Albury for Juniors - that is for composite, representative teams from each state - ie Vic vrs SA etc.

Then in a few weeks there is the senior SA country championships - usually at Wayville, Pasadena, Dome and / or Port

this is for u20s (inclusive) upwards - varies in grades between ABL players to D grade social - several grades available - ie Murray Bridge vrs Whyalla - stuff

then in Febrauary / March there are two weekends for SA Country state junior championships - 1 weekend is u12 / u14s and another u16s / u18s

this is again whyalla vrs naracoorte stuff

broken hill and mildura come - mildura have dominated last few years

there are several grades available to nominate

go to SA country basketball web site - or ring the dome 8444 6444 and anyone would be glad to help - new teams most welcome

hopefully pt lincoln may get it together and front soon as well

yeah its on the 29th and 30th of Jan and you dont find out where your playing or who your playing untill like a week before hope it helps you.
