Apple Online Store - ordering from Australia

Would I be right in assuming that I can't by something on the US online store and get it posted to Australia? If the answer is yes are there any companies or business or ANYONE who I can get it sent to and then have them send it on to Australia? I don't really know anyone in the states. Thanks.

http://www.getmac.com.au/ is better than nextbyte.

There are mail forwarding services in the states, but they are typically expensive.

I ordered a macbook from the aus apple site and got it the next morning, plus i got the student discount so i'm loving life
