Some saying that 900 million people may be watching this game in China alone. Amazing. Scalpers outside the stadium offering tickets for US$2500 each.

Some will remember the name Liu Wei - he was the guy that played in the NBL All Star game one year.

the assist ruling is weird these olympics, lebron should have 3 assists he penetrated and passed to dwight who got fouled and hit the foulshots no assist?, lebron also got a MASSIVE 2 hand block and did a full court pass to dwayne wade who dunked and no assists?

Australia is the only country who award assists for free throws, so that call is correct. The block and full court pass should have been an assist for sure though

Also, how long do you have to shoot a free throw? Counted Dwight Howard at about 15 seconds on the line

Not sure on NBA, but officially it's not in the FIBA rules. Most other national leagues around the world don't, with the (known) exception of NBL/WNBL/ABL
