Why are the Boomers playing USA? They should be playing Spain in the quarter finals instead.Australia are on equal points with Croatia, but have scored more points than the other 5 teams. This is wrong!

We are on equal wins with the other teams in the pool, therefore it goes on head to head results, we lost to the teams we drew with so we are fourth.

Just like ties on win/loss at the end of an NBL season, it comes down firstly to head to head results. We're all ok with that when it happens, so let's just accept the situation as it is.
IMO this is the correct way to go... so get over it!

Look at it another way - the Boomers screwed themselves - they LOST to Croatia and LOST to Argentina and if they had won either of those games they would have been second or third....

I'd rather lose watching the USA and enjoying every basket we score against them.
Than to watch a grind out loss in the low post to spain.

Boomers screwed themselves by having a bad start 0-2 and only picking it up in the end ! The only team they wer not better then in their pool was Argentina so by all rights they should be no.2 if they didn't give it away to Croatia
