Am i the only person who has read the NBL page on wikipedia which says that the NBL will eventually expand into asia and open the import restrictions to possibly include asian and southern hemisphere born players? Probably a load of crap.

It already did. It didn't turn out very well.

It will join on with an existing league in Asia. Most of the owners in the league have been informed. Some of the regional teams will be removed from the NBL next yr. The merger is slated for 2012
