He'll miss the game against the Hawks on Saturday, then possibly the road game against the Hawks (crucial) and the next home agame against the Taipans.

That makes it so much tougher.

I think we can beat the Hawks at home though. They have 5 players who play 35+ minutes most games. The Tigers spread their minutes around last time against the Hawks to stay fresh and outscored them 58-28 in the second half.

I don't think the Hawks bench is all that menacing either -- Kelly, Pilon, Rigby and Caporn. Campbell is a streaky shooter and will be the key for them.

With such a close competition for the 3rd and 4th spots, it is going to be hard for the Sixers to keep hold of either of these positions without Maher. If we slip to 5th, that will mean having to win 2 elimination games before getting the best of 3 semis. Not impossible, but much harder.

We will need another great team effort like we had yesterday to get on top of the Hawks. Saturday night will be tough.

The biggest problem with facing the Hawks will be having to put up with that idiot........Dan the Man

I actually think that is pretty good, it could have been a lot worse. If he tore it he may have been gone for a long time, and then come back into playoffs a little cold and not sure of how he can push it. Now he has some time to work on it, get back, and ready.

So with Brett out what starting lineup should they go with?

And what kind of odds can I get on another 40+ from Farley? :-)

I think the starting combo of Farley, Holmes, Forman, Rychart, Cooper worked relatively well, albeit slow to start.

the only problem with that line up is with holmes playing 2 man he isnt that quick and agile so a natual 2 man should be able to beat him off the dribble which could cause problems for us.that 5 will do for time being
