Kevin Brooks - why isn't he still playing?

This has probably been asked before but why is Kevin Brooks coaching instead of playing? would he be able to play as a naturalised player? Darnell mee is a similar age and is doing well as a naturalised player so why not KB? or is he to old to get a few boards and hit a few three's off the bench? just a thought.

I thought it was his Knee. Anyway a tall old guard can continue to play but an old undersized forward would struggle.
