personally i dont think soj could beat a solid wnbl player 1 on 1 let alone jackson.

he cant dribble past anyone its embarrising.

he has many flaws in his game and i doubt he will be in the revamped league next season with the likely reduced number of teams.

anyone think soj would get a game under a different coach?? i think not except if he played aba or qabl then yes but would not star.

SOJ had a fairly big game Wednesday night - 24 points, 3 rebounds & a block in 23mins.

He also shot 8/9 from the field and 5/6 from three. Now I certainly don't rate SOJ as anything more than an OK backup for 15 mins a game, but that is a pretty good performance none the less.

It depends, if his dad is still coaching in the league next year then he will have a gig.

I think Jackson by the way. She'd also make a mess of David Cooper. Pretty hard to win a one on one game when you're scared to shoot.

Well, this thread thread didn't take long to fall off the tracks....

What skip said.

They are probably the same height, but SoJ would be stronger (you'd think, that is) and more athletic and could probably just get by her everytime.

To put this into context, my under 18 divvie 1 team back in I think around 1997 played the Adelaide Lightning in some scrimmages. We were about the 3rd or 4th best under 18 team in SA at that stage, and the lightning had Sporne at her peak (one of the top players in the world at that stage), Brogan at her peak, Kingi at her peak etc, and by far the best women's basketball team in Australia (if not the world).

We smashed them. Absolutely flogged them. Now LJ is admittedly a bit better than sporne at her peak, but this was a bunch of kids beating them. SOJ would smash LJ. Too quick, too athletic, too strong.

Well if an under 20s div 2 side can beat the Adelaide Lightning. Then im backing SOJ even though he is a disgrace...
