Joey Wright "sacked" from APOEL
Small mention in today's Courier Mail that Joey was "sacked" from coaching today.
For those that know him or Big joe, there was a riot after the team lost to AEL the other week and their OWN fans had rioted against them- apparently this is quite common and acceptable in Cypress/ Greece.
They had brought up the issue of security and how disappointing it was to have to face such behaviour at a basketball game, which fell on deaf ears.
Unsurprisingly, he has now been "sacked" due to not wanting to put his personal safety on the line.
Apologies Isaac if this has already been posted- I could see anywhere were it had.
