There was some 36ers History DVD done at some point, and I think the same people did a Wildcats one also. Not sure about other teams.
Ben Fitz and I looked into trying to set up something like Pontel (though for the NBL), but it'd be a lot of work for minimal return. Edit video, produce DVDs, postage and handling. Lose a cut to the league, to clubs and to handle the previous issues. Doesn't leave much and I can't imagine that the market is that lucrative.
Also considered a digital version (streamed or downloadable videos), and ideally with automatic highlights (only show segments with a Maher basket, or a home team dunk, or blocks only, etc), feeds per player, team, venue, and more. But again, it's a lot of work, people rarely pay for anything online, and bandwidth would come into play.
Last option might be torrents. Rip a game DVD (from the house feed) and get it up. But that's going to be difficult for many people to work out.
