pretty sure game 1 of the sixers season was on the same night as junior games.
same as last year
maybe the sixers have made sure they dont clash with juniors too much seems the lightning either dont care as much or dont have enough power to stop the clashes from happening
I think you'll find that if the lightning don't have Friday night games that means no TV games for them. I guess it places them in a difficult situation.

Lighning are not a member of BSA. Why would BSA schedule around the Lightning?
The NBL/WNBL teams don't do anything for junior basketball in SA. Why would anybody care?
They should schedule around the lightning because we are a one basketball family trying to promote our sport to the juniors and attract kids to play.
Junior basketball has huge drop outs from second year 18's on particularly in the girls and I'd like to see more done to keep kids playing. All of us being on the same page would help and the new broom to fix the NBL won't mean squat unless the junior program is right. Growing an audience is important.

Growing an audience is important. That's why they're doing what they can to get Lightning games on TV.

messing 4000 juniors around so that 20 people can go watch a game doesn't fix a drop out rate. If the lightning want to they can ask for no Friday night games.
