I thought the Dragons didn't chase Abney or Thomas cos they were after a point guard?
I suppose they just took the best player available to them?

They were never after a point guard. Always a swingman.
They were slightly interested in Thomas, but his injury concerns made it impossible.

just wondering DICKO, you know the name of their next import? Last week when I was in there I had the indication they were going for a PG, with a name already in mind...
what Brian was weary of was the fact he still doesn't have legit star quality in the guard position (Darden's a G/F; and sorry to Gibson fans but he still isn't quite like import guards in terms of skills and athleticism) but the frontline of Ingles, Worthington is enough. While the two C's are also fairly solid. Interesting though...

The guy has a lot in common with Dontae Jones...but it's not him.
