Schenscher for POTW?

Ok, we might be a bit biased on this site but surely Schenscher will win POTW!

Only other person that would come close would be Kirk Penny but the Breakers lost whereas the Sixers won both games. Also Penny play 44 minutes to get his stats, compared to Schenscher who only played 29 minutes against the Taipans.

Kirk Penny
32 pts (50%), 6 rebounds, 6 assists

Luke Schenscher (average over both games)
24.5 pts (55%), 14.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1 block

For sure, he is has been the rock for this team, we got dominated in the boards department when he didnt play the in the 4th last night. Im going to go all out now and say " Adelaide 36ers MVP" -seasons end " And wait for it, wait for it... "League MVP for 2008/2009 NBL Season". The dude numbers will prevail!

I think you should wait for the round to be completed before predicting who's going to win.

I doubt if he will be league MVP but he is deffinately my pic for this weeks POTW.

On a slightly different note is he likely to be back next season? Would love to see him suit again :-)

Penney - 32 points (11/22), 6 rebounds, 6 assists had a solid game too. There's still 2 games to go so it's worth waiting until they're over before picking Luke.

He would have to be right up there with Penney as a favourite for League MVP.

Has performed well above everyones expectations this season.

And just imagine if he had been starting from the start of the season and playing adequate minutes! Ahh serenity now serenity now! 6ers hve set them selfve sup to really make a run at this title now and its seemingly come against all odds, so no need to dwell on the past.

Looking a solid chance for Luke to knock Anstey out for centre in the NBL First Team. Anstey had 16 and 12 tonight against the Wildcats.

Definately deserves this week POTW, loved his more physical approach and loved his reaction to Cat the idiot when his hair was pulled. He is extremely dominant now.

If the NBL first team was done now, I think Schenscher would already be pipping Anstey for the Centre spot.
