OK lets chuck out the names now...i think there will be a new owner, Mal is keen, but who?
Owner of the lightning was keen once, but with a $5M price tag, I say he will cool his heels...
there was some other names so lets chuck em out there and find out who is interested....who so we think...

Doubt if $5 Million will be the final deal. Dome will go for that + more, Sixers much less.

What makes a good owner? I'd like to pose the question and ask in all seriousness.....Would you buy a basketball team in this economic crisis? Should Mike Rann be coming to our rescue to secure our team or have the government done enough over the years? It is a big Fuss in my opinion as the 6ers are iconic South Australian and there is no way we should face losing the team.

Anyone but Mal the club has been at its worst since he took over.He got it early from the government take over but did nothing and has not done much since.Lots of promises and other peoples fault but what has he done.Will not be buying a season ticket if he is the owner.Come on Fuss

That was Mal , just then , on fiveaa.
Happy with the revamp of baketball and the league.
( might not get it all right , in the first year, but getting over the problems, and the FOX deal is a boast). Had to call in some help, with ABC sponsorship of the dome and sixers gone.
Plus I think NBL require more than 1 owner- I said that bit, not Mal.
A bid will go in by the end of Feb , but whether that complies with new requirements, he is not sure.
(sounds, to me like they might lodge a non compiant bid - but, it would be hard for the NBL to knock back the 36ers, wouldn't it ?)
