What's Hot/What's Not

Was at the first 3 quarters of the North v Sturt match-up.

Celebrity sightings: Paul Rogers, Smooth Butter.

Hot: The seat Mapunda was warming, Loveday's adjusment during the game, Chow Yun-Fat Hong Kong movies, Sturt on the break (fastest ABL game I've seen this year), Hoops.com.au, Andy Lau movies, Hambour stepping up for once (I've seen him outplayed by nearly everyone), Damn just Hong Kong movies in general, Burdon getting in the game early (dispite his teammates not looking for him - he's always open, he works so hard off the ball), the good crowd at Hillcrest - the place was packed, The St. Pauls connection (Rogers, Hawks, Mapunda, Smooth Butter and Double Clutch), the beastie boys,

Not: Nathan Hawks playing point guard, maybe it's just me but I don't like his court vision - or his shot selection at times, Sturt playing against a trap, the lack of dunks in the ABL - throw some down big men!!!, Oscar not being being a leader (I know 28 shots but he didn't stand up when the team was under pressure, play outside the offence), the umpire at the half-time juniour game - that wasn't a foul!!!, the new sixers site - what rubbish!!, sixer's management - what rubbish!!!, The Matrix movies.

Additional news: Just for those hoping, PR isn't coming back to Adelaide this year, dispite in his words the fact that "I would love to."

Damn I would love to have him, if we could have kept Catt that would be a cool line-up (Maher, Holmes, Catt, Rychart, Rogers).

And to Issac: My outgoing e-mail isn't working so I can't e-mail you, but if you want me to help like I did on the other site I'd be willing to. I've got some ideas for the site so I've got to catch you on msn to tell you them some time.

Put Beastie Boys on the Not list for releasing a CD that silently installs copy-protection software on a users computer without letting them know.

2K2.

The media room still has a very funny video of Hawkes in a batman film from 1989 (well it still did have it as of two years ago), that's how I found out he went to St. Pauls.

I also remember Rogers coming back for a photo shoot in 1997 for the Advertiser back page.

You don't have a St. Pauls connection yourself do you Libertine?

Aye, but was your year 11 coincidental with my year 11?

To be honest, I'm not sure. Would have been pretty close I'd say.

Ergh, but it's hard to stay focussed when the beautiful beautiful internet is just one click away. 6 days of the semester left!
