I was actually thinking about this the other day. I am not sure but I think the only was it could reasonably work would be.

Round One:
Qualifying Final: 1 v 2

Elim Final 1: 4 v 5

Elim Final 2: 3 v 6

Round Two: Three Game Series

SF 1: WQF1 (Two Home Games) v WEF1

SF 2: LQF1 (Two Home Games) v WEF2

Round Three: Five Game Series

GF: WSF1 (Three Home Games) v WSF2

Not quite nutter. Dont suppose either of you decide to look on the NBL site?

Understanding the NBL Finals

Qualifying Finals - 1 Game knock out at the higher teams home court.
Game 1 - 3rd vs. 6th
Game 2 - 4th vs. 5th

Semi Finals - 3 game series, Higher team gets 2 matches at home if required.
Series 1 - 1st vs. winner Game 2 (4th or 5th)
Series 2 - 2nd vs. winner Game 1 (3rd or 6th)

Then the two series winners playoff in a best of 5 Grand Final. Higher team gets 3 games at home if required.

Dates

Quarter Finals
18 & 19 February

Semi-Finals
24 February - 1 March

Grand Finals

Game 1 - 4 March
Game 2 - 6 March
Game 3 - 8 March
Game 4 (if required) - 11 March
Game 5 (if required) - 13 March

So if we have a win next sat and Perth lose to the Tigers we will probably be playing the Crocs in the final.
If we lose saturday we probably will play the Breakers again, assuming they roll the Taipans.

Have I got that straight? Someone might have to correct me.

Who would we be better off playing?

Am I right to say that whoever we play (Crocs or Breakers) it will be on 18 February?

We are almost certain to finish 6th and will therefore be classed as Game 1??

If its the Breakers, i would imagine it would be the 19th as their home games are always on Thursday.
