2009 NBA Free Agents

There's obviously a lot of talk about the 2010 free agent class but there's an interesting list at the end of this year too.

Detroit will have an interesting off season with Iverson, Wallace and McDyess all expiring and RIP having an early termination option.

Others of note:
Boozer, Bibby, Kidd, Artest, Odom, A. Miller, Marion, Grant Hill.

Kobe also has an ETO but surely wont be going anywhere.

Any thoughts on who might be re-signed with their current teams and who might go elsewehere.

You'd think Artest and Bibby would stay but there are some other interesting ones there - Will Toronto keep Marion (on a reduced contract), like wise for Kidd in Dallas? And where might Grant Hill end up? Will Boozer stay at Utah?

Would never happen, but I'd love to see:

Shaq to Clippers
Camby, Baron Davis to Suns.

Phoenix get a big man who can hit the boards and block shots in an uptempo game. Camby (1 year left on contract) isn't young, but can fill the middle until the young bigs are ready to start, otherwise Stat can play the middle agian and Camby can come off the bench.

B Diddy (4 years left) and Mike Dunleavy Sr's style of game are complete opposite ends of the scale. Apparently Donald Stirling has faith in DumbLeavy and will trade before he sacks him. If Phx get Baron, they get a point guard for 4 years that thrives in a run run run offense.

Shaq (1 year left) would start for the Clips, who would hopefully trade Kaman to someone looking for a solid big, (Detroit? Kaman grew up just outside Michigan)preferably for a solid point option. As much as Shaq is well past his prime, he can still play solid inside as has been seen this season. He also brings a hell of a lot of Charisma, something the Clippers are lacking to those outside of Clipper nation.
