NBA Finals: Today's Games ***SPOILERS***

The Chicago Bulls rode a 36 point and 11 sssist performance from rookie Rose to defeat the Celtics in game 1 in OT, 105-103. In what was his first ever playoff game, Rose equalled Abdul-Jabbar's playoff record for the most number of points in your first playoff appearance. No Chicago player since Jordan has scored 36 points or more in a playoff game. Amazing effort to get things underway!

The Cav's also easily accounted for the Pistons as expected, winning 102-84. The Cav' won behind a 38 point (13/20 shooting), 8 rebound and 7 assist, 1 steal game from LeBron (and no TO's!). The Cav's had 5 players score in double-digits, including Smith from the bench. Wallace played 14 minutes for the Cav's who are hoping he will quickly get close to 100%.

Currently the Spurs are leading the Mav's 29-18 at the first break. The Spurs are curently riding some hot shooting from Finley and the star play of Duncan and Parker.

remember, C's got those miraculous fairies who once bought Pearce from a wheelchair back into the game and you'd think they'll come again to straight KG's leg back in time before the series finish.

as much as I dislike Yao Ming, admittedly he IS the most dominant offensive center in today's NBA. A perfect start at the half scoring 24pts.

Spurs shot at 79% from 3P and still went down.

why does everyone harp on pierce, he went down hard and though he did his knee. Sure he may have carried on a little but if it did turn out that his knee was gone would you still have a problem with the using a wheelchair i would think not. oh go C's.

That was a hell of a performance by Rose, judging by those stats! Celtics (esp Ray) once again struggle with a lunchtime Sunday game. Don't know what it is, but they have played really poorly in that timeslot all season! Am gonna watch the game on NBA League Pass in the next hour or so. Gotta see Rose's performance, even if he did paste my Celtics!

Good work by the Mavs, the Kidd trade finally seems to be panning out for them.

Very disappointed that Portland played so poorly agains the Rockets. First game finals nerves?

That is an amazing stat line for Lebron, having so much of the ball and no TOs all game! Did they have to scrape Tayshaun off the basket supports before quarter time?
