Swine Flu

I hear that all junior football games have been called off for tomorrow due to concerns for the spread of the swine flu.

Will this be looked at by BSA for next week and looking forward could the Vic tournaments be called off. I have heard that it may be taken out of the hands of the associations and may be a direction from the government. Has anyone heard anything else?

Expect the government to make announcements soon. The "seize and control" provisions of the necessary Acts are in place, ready to go. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the future.

I'm just concerned at just how serious the health authorities are in containing this disease when one suspect is given home detention and yet the rest of the family can come and go as they please.

This is just an ordinary flu doing the rounds.

Some people die from flu every year, mainly because they have additional diseases.

In trying to prove their value, the World Health Organisation shot itself in the foot when they kept on rising the alarm levels.

Mexico City...a population of approx 20 million & they have around 100 or so people die from Swine flu?

There bloody good odds to survive.

Swine flue = Mass hysteria.

You would think they would cancel the Vic tournaments, it would be the sensible thing to do!!! look how many schools have been closed over there? with thousands of kids playing over the weekend it could turn out to be very dangerous.
