West dont seem to be good enough to beat the big 3 in the mens comp after dropping a close one to a very undermanned forestville last night. The got pumped by sturt last week, and lost at home also to an undermanned norwood.
Are they the real deal or just making up the numbers in the top 5??

They certainly played well and had a chance to win the game but the last shot dropped short with the clock expiring. Would have been interesting to see if the result might have been a lot different with Dougie, Wood anmd Campbell in.

The Forestville additions would have made them a bigger propersition but the Bearcats should have won that game easy, by 10 points.
Truslove should have iced the game from the line but Hoban's move was tough and he showed no nerves at the stripe.
Great play by Spud, disappointing he didn't finish, would have been a stunning buzzer beater and the defence by Forestville was terrible, Eagles were lucky.

Was fouling a 53% foul shooter lucky perhaps ? or not fouling Spud the lucky bit ? or were they just lucky all night?

Hoban , Sutton , Gerlach and Sully sensational all night . tired at the end but sensational .
Pay $5 next time and go to game and see first hand what ABL clubs are trying to do , offer a great product at low cost.

Luckless has nailed it on the head. The eagles fouled the right guy, and Spud missed a finger roll....but he was at the dotted line when he attempted it..tought to make. Pity he didn't realise he had bout a secong more!!!
Eagles were brave all night, and yes, Sullivan, Gerlach and especially Sutton were very impressive. I also enjoyed the Truslove/Hoban duel. Probably over the whole game it was even, but with the last 30 seconds in mind Hoban has to take the honours!!!
Great game...West certainly missed a chance to get a win no one else has managed to get, and the eagles put a 3 game gap between themselves and the bearcats!!!
