Yeah that is crazy that AK gets that and Deron Williams or Boozer doesn't!

Chris Paul, Dwight Howard look like bargains!

I'd hate to be paying Jermain O'neal 23 Mill to do nothing!! Why on earth did Miami agree to inherit his hideous contract?

I don't think they have to pay all of it. Doesn't his former team pay him out for half of it and Miami have to pay the rest. Isn't that how those sorts of deals work? I could be totally wrong there

This list will look significantly different after next off season.

Also good to see no-one is getting anywhere near MJ's $30m he was paid in his final season at the Bulls 11 years ago, they don't deserve it.

Guys you have to remember that the way NBA contracts are structured, along with the collective bargaining agreement means that Lebron, Howard, Wade, Carmelo etc are earning the maximum allowed at this stage of their contract/career. Towards the end of their current contract they will be up around the top.

As for Jermaine O'Neal, Miami is up for the entire 23 Million - they made a trade with Toronto for Marion who thay felt would not resign or they did not want to resign for this upcoming season. So instead of losing Marion to FA for essentially nothing, they received O'Neal who will be entering the last year of his contract.

I think Miami got O'Neal to try a make this (last)years team better, and if it didn't work, they'd have a nice big expiring contract for the 2010 free agent pool. This is JO's final year of that contract i believe.

I'd be embrassed if I were T-Mac based on his performances with the Rockets thus far & games played.

Kenyon Martin would be pretty happy with his payslip too.
